About this activity
Day 1: Boarding at Marina Bas du Fort. Departure to Ilet Gosier (about 30 min). Night on board, at anchor.
Day 2: Breakfast and we set sail to Anse Canot at Marie-Galante, the island of a hundred mills (about 2 hours of sailing). Lunch on board. Option*: Bus tour of the island (about 3 hours). Dinner and night on board.
Day 3: After breakfast, departure to Dominica (about 4 hours of navigation): "The Nature Island of the Caribbean". Arrival in Portsmouth (customs and immigration formalities). Lunch on board. Option*: Rowing boat trip on the Indian River, then a lovely walk back through the fruit plantations and Portsmouth village. Dinner and night on board.
Day 4: Breakfast. Option *: Island tour by bus with a driver-guide: North Road, Amerindian Reserve, stop in the National Park, "Emerald Pool", crossing of the island to the south and the west coast. Lunch in a restaurant in the rainforest. Trafalgar waterfalls (60m high) with a guide. Return to the boat through the capital, Roseau, and by the west coast. Dinner and night on board.
Day 5: After breakfast we will navigate to the west coast of Guadeloupe (about 3 hours). Lunch at anchor nearby under the wind of the island. After lunch sailing to the Cousteau Reserve facing Ilet Pigeon (about 3 hours). Dinner and night on board.
Day 6: After breakfast, relaxation, water activities from the boat, snorkelling; for amateurs there's a possibility you may be able to go scuba diving at one of the local clubs. Lunch on board. In the afternoon we will sail to the archipelago of Saintes (about 3 hours). Mooring at Pain de Sucre. Dinner and night on board.
Day 7: After breakfast we will be on our way to the Terre de Haut Bay. Anchorage in the bay. Option*: Village tour and walk to the Fort Napoleon. Lunch on board. You will have some free time to explore the area. We set sail later that day to Îlet Gosier (about 4 hours). Dinner and night on board.
Day 8: Disembarkation at 10:00 at Bas du Fort marina.
When the time comes for the final goodbyes the crew will remind you of trips highlights, exchange emails and photos and might even give you a big hug before sending you off!
