In the 1960s, London was the epicenter of a huge shift in pop culture as a new style of music burst into the world. Today we call it Rock and Roll. This tour pieces together the story of those days by taking you to the bars, clubs and recording studios that launched some of the biggest names in music history. You’ll see places where Jimi Hendrix performed before he was discovered, a tiny nightclub where the Beatles and Rolling Stones hung out together, the studio that, at various points, hosted, David Bowie, Queen, and the Beatles, and many more sights where the sounds of that era came to fruition. This small area played an outsized role in Rock and Roll history and our walk through it is like listening to the greatest hits of the era.
