Stop At: Windsor Castle, Windsor SL4 1NJ, UK

Depart from central London in the early morning aboard a luxury coach which will take you into Windsor, your first stop of the day. On arrival, plug into your provided headphones, so you can hear your guide’s commentary clearly as you explore this market town with Tudor style buildings that inspired Shakespeare.
**This tour offers two options: A guided walking tour to explore Windsor town or visiting Windsor Castle on your own. Please make sure you choose the option you would like to do the most when booking!

Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Windsor Castle, Castle Hill, Windsor SL4 1PD England

Opt to visit Windsor Castle on your own (specify upon booking).

Duration: 30 minutes

Pass By: Bath Abbey, Bath BA1 1LT England

Next, take in the rolling hills of the English countryside as you travel to the Roman town of Bath. Check off the UNESCO World Heritage–listed city’s top sights on a walking tour. Discover the Royal Crescent and other striking Georgian crescents and terraces, which inspired Jane Austen’s “Northanger Abbey” and “Persuasion” novels. Then, make the most of free time to perhaps visit the Jane Austen Visitor Centre or the Roman Baths (both at own expense).

Pass By: The Roman Baths, Abbey Church Yard, Bath BA1 1LZ England

If you wish to visit the Roman Baths this will be at your own expense

Stop At: Stonehenge, Amesbury SP4 7DE England

Back aboard the coach, continue through the vast Salisbury Plains, which are home to a huge number of stone-age mounds and remains. The most famous of these is the UNESCO-listed stone circle at Stonehenge. Stroll around the prehistoric stones with your guide and stop by the visitor center to hear theories about how and why it was created.

After, your day trip concludes back at the original departure point in central London. Please note: This tour’s itinerary will alter slightly from mid October until the end of October due to Stonehenge’s closing hours.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Absolutely loved this tour! I researched for hours and hours on various sites to try and find the best use of my time in England. Mark was a fabulous guide for our small group of just under ten people. We had beautiful fall weather making the tour extra enjoyable, but the length of time in each stop was what really made the tour ideal. I was traveling alone so I appreciated the more intimate feel to the tour while still having free time to visit the Roman Baths in Bath, grab lunch in Lacock and wander around Stonehenge. Mark did an amazing job giving plenty of insight into each of the stops on the tour without talking the entire time while driving.

Well paced, enjoyable tour. Our guide Pepe was very knowledgeable and passionate about the sights we were visiting. We were given 2 hours on our own in Bath, 90 minutes in Lacock in the Cotswolds, for lunch, after a nice tour of this tiny town, and about 2-3 hours at Stonehenge. The time in Bath went very quickly, as there is a lot to see at the baths. We didn't have time to see it all. The admission was not included, it was around 14 pounds, and included an audio headset. Lacock is a small village. There are many movies an shows filmed in the area and Pepe was keen to point these places out. Scenes for Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth was filmed at Lacock Abbbey, as were scenes for Harry Potter movies. The house shown in the second movie belonging to his real parents is there. Stonehenge has grown considerably since I last visited. The car park and visitor's center is far from Stonehenge and requires transport by bus. The line for the bus was quite long and the buses did not run as frequently as I felt they should have, only my opinion, but one is ready and excited to see this special place and the delay was frustrating. Pepe, was very good at explaining the various theories behind this collection of rocks and gave us great insights. He was obviously very passionate about this area and it showed. He answered questions with humor and great interest. In all it was a long, but great day. Pepe's enthusiasm added to the experience and we all had a great time. We met the group at the Gloucester Tube station at 7:30am and returned around around 7:30pm. Thanks, Pepe, for a great day!

This is a full day and covers a lot of ground. I knew it would be a whirlwind tour and it was. Our guides were good. I thought there might be a little more commentary on the long drive out to Bath about history and places but what we did get was satisfactory. If you are short on time and want to pack several sights in, then this is a good tour for you. But be advised you will not have more than 90 minutes or so in each location.
