About this activity

You will walk through the same streets that Jack The Ripper famously prowled, as you stop in a variety of different tasting locations.

We start the tour with an "intro to Whitechapel" drink, followed by an exploration of the dark streets of the East End, where you will go behind the scenes of the famous Victorian year, 1888.

On the tour, you will taste of old-fashioned Gin a gin master who has one of London's largest collections. Afterwards, you will dig into some local BBQ MEAT, as only a butcher would, before visiting Spitalfield’s market and have a wine-tasting accompanied with nibbles. From Spitalfield’s Market, you will head over to Brick Lane, as you discover one of the East End’s most famous streets. It is there that we will finish our adventure, with a luscious lasting of homemade, gourmet African Chocolate.

Our host Sarah was wonderful! We had a small group and we were spoilt with the history, food and drinks. We were so glad we chose this tour - do it!

Our guide, James, did an excellent job of telling us the history of Jack the Ripper and showing us many of the historic locations. The food tour was great with excellent food and drink at the various stops. The food and drink choices were quite varied from barbecue to wine and cheese. An excellent gin was also available at one of the pubs. The tour was just the right length and we enjoyed our early evening time with James.

An awesome tour. James was very friendly and knowledgeable. A small group which makes it more fun. Food and drink was great. Lasted 3 hours and wished it wasn't over.

We toured with James who was exceptional! We were the only ones on the tour so had a very intimate experience, along with great tastings and food. He definitely sparked our curiosity and made a lasting impression on our memories. Probably the best tour we took on our month long vacation. It's a weird subject matter but soooo cool to actually walk the areas and see the various locations, pictures and discuss the theories of who Jack the Ripper might have been. This is a must see tour and the personal touch offered by James was the best.

Loved this tour. James was our tour guide and he did a fabulous job describing the chilling murder's by Jack the ripper. He had lots of interesting information that I have never heard. The food and drinks along the way were awesome. Especially loved the tapas restaurant and bar and the fun filled gin tasty. The white Chapel area of London was not a place I would have visited but I'm so glad we did. I highly recommend this tour with James.
