Stop At: Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter, Studio Tour Drive, Leavesden WD25 7LR England

Step onto the breathtaking sets and take a glimpse behind the scenes of everyone’s favourite wizard from the Harry Potter films on this spectacular Harry Potter studio tour.

Walk through the doors of the Great Hall into the dining room, where the Sorting Hat famously sorted Hogwarts students into their houses. Can you find all of the golden snitches hidden in the set? Peer into the Gryffindor common room, Snape’s lab and the office of Professor Albus Dumbledore before making your way to the Forbidden Forest, where you’ll encounter a full-size model of Buckbeak and meet face-to-face with the giant spider, Aragog.

Marvel at how the SFX team at Warner Bros. created some of the movies’ scariest characters, including an animatronic foetal Lord Voldemort, and visit Privet Drive; home of Harry’s dreadful aunt and uncle, the Dursleys. In the costume section, see up close in incredible detail the wardrobes of characters such as Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley and the students of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic.

Enter the set of Gringotts Wizarding Bank from 06 April 2019

Warner Bros. Studio Tour London will reveal a new permanent addition to your vist, Gringotts Wizarding Bank.

Lined by towering marble pillars, the grand banking hall will be decorated with three magnificent crystal chandeliers and finished with real brass leaf. Inkwells, quills, ledgers and piles of Galleons, Sickles and Knuts will complete the goblin tellers’ desks as seen on screen. The Prop-making Department, led by Pierre Bohanna, created over 210,000 coins for the final two films alone.

Gringotts Wizarding Bank is famously run by goblins. Walking through the imposing marble columns, you will discover costumes and prosthetics belonging to Bogrod, Griphook and many other goblin bankers.

Once through the banking hall of Gringotts, you will enter the depths of the Lestrange vault used to store the treasures of Bellatrix Lestrange including the Sword of Gryffindor and Helga Hufflepuff’s Cup, one of Voldemort’s many Horcruxes. During filming 38,000 pieces of rubberised treasure were created the for the Lestrange vault including 7,014 Hufflepuff Cups. Here, you can have a unique photo opportunity allowing you to step inside the Lestrange vault and surround yourselves with treasure.

No visit would be complete without visiting Platform 9 ¾, and on this tour you’ll have a chance to snap a photo with the trolley on your way to catch the Hogwarts Express.

A nice coach ride out to the studio. We were given 4 hours at the studio which was plenty of time and then a nice rice back.

Worth every penny. A wonderful day from the easy, friendly check-in by Evans Tours to controlled tour times of the Tour. Food was, however, expensive.

Exceeded our expectations. Exhibits are interactive and brings the scenes to live for the visitors. Creativity at its best

First of all, I want to clarify that the WB Studios Tour was amazing — everything was full of magic and exceeded our expectations. Our complaint is regarding the round-trip transport provided by Evan Evans. Upon our arrival at the meeting point, we were received by a company bus, as expected. However, when we arrived at the Studios, we were informed that we wouldn't be taking the same bus back. Actually, we were supposed to catch a numbered bus (not company branded) at 4:30pm. When we went out, around 4:25pm, the mentioned bus was nowhere to be seen. We stood around until 4:45, and no sign of it. Luckily, we were able to get the WB Studios bus to the train station and get in a train to Central London. Not to mention the extra cost, it was quite stressful to have such a sudden change of plans.

Warner Bros studio as experience is great, it's worth to visit ... However, Trip transport is not luxury at all. WiFi wasn't working for both ways, Driver was rude, Bus wasn't not that Luxury as they metioend ... anyway, we had nice time in Warner Bros which is most important to us.

Great trip, we got to see so many amazing sets and learned a lot about the making of the movie. Long drive from London but worth the trip.

The seats on the coach barely gave you enough legroom. The short movie before entering the Great Hall was unnecessary and a waste of time. It detracted from the experience, and it was not worth the time. I would have rather spent more time in the Great Hall. As it was, the staff were rushing you out before you could absorb everything you were seeing and take the pictures you wanted. The sets were nice, but the lighting in certain areas made it difficult to take quality pictures. Most of the souvenirs were of low quality and overpriced. For the price paid, everyone should have left with the making of HP book in soft cover.

Wonderful excursion with the family to the Harry Potter Studios which are particularly worth seeing. The ride in the coach was pleasant and took one hour.

Huge fan of the books and films. Went with my adult daughter and had the most brilliant fun! The entire ‘Harry Potter Studios’ experience exceeded all our expectations. So much to see and take in. Interactivities were great, even as an observer. Beautifully archived props, costumes, hair and make-up. The recreated ‘Dumbledor’s Office’ is glorious and the final scaled model of ‘Hogwarts School of Wizardry’ is just spectacular. Highly rec’d for ALL ages.

My children loved it. I enjoyed seeing how the scenes were filmed . The train station especially entering 9 and 3/4 made a great series of photos.

Great fun. The Harry Potter experience itself is excellent even though it gets a bit crowded at times. Bus service was convenient, safe and punctual.

Having been to the Universal Studios attractions in California and Florida, we were warned not to expect much. It was amazing! The tiny little things to find and level of detail were truly magical

Very well done and loved seeing all the attractions from the movies. So realistic. My daughter wondered if seeing it would make her not like the movies as much but loved the magic too.

We are huge Harry Potter fans and looked forward to this tour. We didn’t love it, but we’ve also been. To Unviersal Studios Harry Potter Wizrding World amusement park...that’s amazing. This is much more like a Harry Potter set museum than anything else. The sets are cool and learning the behind the scenes info was interesting, but there wasn’t much to make it feel magical. Very few interactive experiences. I wouldn’t recommend it for families who Have children caught up in the fantasy of the Harry Potter books or movies. Even My 17 year old daughter felt seeing the sets and learning how they used CGI and green screens took away more than added to her love of the films. Also the foue hours allotted by the tour company was too long. We finished in 2.5 hours and were ready to go. We skipped the tour bus and took the train back to London.
