NOTE: The bus from Los Angeles did not drop us off at our hotel in Las Vegas. We were dropped off at a central point in Las Vegas and had to make our own way (by taxi – short taxi ride) to our hotel in Las Vegas. On the way back, we had to make our own way (by taxi) from our hotel to the 'central drop-off point' in Las Vegas, to catch the bus back to Los Angeles. Also NOTE: The trip to the Grand Canyon lasts ALL day. We were picked up from our hotel at 06:10 and then transported to a central pick-up area (I can’t remember when the bus actually left Las Vegas, but it might have been about 08:30). We got back to Las Vegas after 21:00 in the evening. NOTE: In the evening, the bus didn’t drop us off at our exact hotels; we were all dropped off at nearby hotels within walking distance. We were dropped off at our nearest drop-off hotel at 21:30. We had booked a show for that evening (which started at 21:30), so we had to run from the drop-off point to our show, and arrived about 25 mins late. It’s probably best not to book anything that starts at around 21:30 or before (on the day of the trip to the Grand Canyon), and if you do, be prepared to get to your event a bit late. The tour (to the Grand Canyon) could probably do with an extra person, as the driver was also responsible for providing the commentary. This wasn’t ideal for a full bus of about 40 people – as there was limited opportunity to ask questions (as the driver was busy driving and talking at the same time). If you’d like to see the Hoover Dam properly, book a separate tour….perhaps a half-day tour from Las Vegas to Hoover Dam, or another tour that includes a proper visit to the Hoover Dam. (The bus drove past Hoover dam in the evening, but it was dark, so I couldn’t really see anything out the window). I booked a separate half-day tour from Las Vegas to Hoover dam, on day 3 of the tour (i.e. in the morning, before catching the bus from Las Vegas back to Los Angeles in the afternoon of Day 3) Otherwise the tour was good (3.8 stars). It is Ideal if you'd like to travel to/between the three locations (Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Grand Canyon) and if you would also like plenty of free time to spend as you wish. Nice complimentary snacks on the LuxBus between Los Angeles and Las Vegas – plenty of free soft drinks, cookies and pretzels! Ideal for travel to/between LA, LV and GC – and for Plenty of free time to spend as you wish

Quite painful. 5hr to Las Vegas, 8hr to grand canyon (incl.hotel pick up and toilet breaks), 8hr back, 4hr to LA - all for a 2 hour view. When dropped off in Las Vegas, you have to make own way to booked hotel. Nice view but not worth the pain.

This tour was really incredible and if I could, I would do it again! The sceneries and the places you get to see are stunning despite the long drives. The hotel I was put up in Las Vegas was also really beautiful and had all the amenities/facilities you can think of. Even though I was expecting the tour guide on the trip from L.A. to Vegas and return to give us more information along the trip, the ride was very pleasant as they put on movies and serve you snacks and beverages. The tour guide is also very helpful if you need any information regarding things to do in Vegas. As for the tour from Vegas to the Grand Canyon, our tour guide was simply amazing: very knowledgeable, funny and helpful. The only thing I would have liked to do there was probably being able to stop at more locations such as Lake Mead as it seemed to be along the way. Apart from these aspects, I really had a great experience all in all!

An excellent way to bucket list Las Vegas and the grand canyon. Could be improved with a door to door drop on at the Las Vegas end.

Your web ad is somewhat misleading as it gives the impression that transportation would be provided by the same company throughout the tour. As it turned out the transportation to and from LA to Las Vegas is provided by Lux Bus which runs a regular service between the two cities. This means that Lux Bus did not deliver us to the Tropicana hotel, and we had to make our own way there by taxi. On departure we also had to take a a taxi to the Lux Bus departure point at Harrahs hotel. The Tropicana hotel has seen better days and although acceptable in comfort, we were surprised and disappointed that they could not provide hot food as room service on our return late on the second day from Grand Canyon. The bus provided by Grand Canyon Tours Co. for our trip to the GC was well appointed and comfortable. The journey was long and driver kept up a well- informed running commentary all the way. Visit to the GC was prolonged due to a spot vehicle inspection which delayed our return by about an hour. Unfortunately, due to a problem with my knee, I was unable to walk from our drop off point to the Canyon rim. my wife however went ahead and took some fabulous pictures There being little shelter in the car park other than the rest rooms, I had to wait in a biting wind until the coach returned. I personally was disappointed that my disability prevented me from seeing more, but overall the trip was well worth it. One serious concern however was that the driver/guide, whilst very capable and knowledgeable, drove for most of the way to the GC and back holding a microphone in one hand and steering the bus with the other. This combined with the length of his work day, which exceeded 14 hours, in our opinion, posed a considerable threat to the safety.

Overall it was good! The hotel was not up to our expectation. We found out others that where in the same trip have gotten room in the Harris for 65 / night and were very happy with room and the overall service!!!

Pick up and drop off was not to my hotel as specified on the description, we had to pay 4 taxi to and from hotel/bus. We spent 90% of the time on the bus to and from Gran Canyon and maybe only 1 hour there. The audio on the bus video narration was not working. I could continue but I run out of chara

Las Vegas itself and the Grand Canyon were amazing and I would definitely recommend visiting them, however not via this trip. We got picked up just after 7am from our hotel and drove 45mins-1hour in a minibus to Anaheim where we then got on a coach for 4-5 hours to Las Vegas. We stopped off on the way and the bus was comfortable, plus staff were very helpful. We checked in to our hotel at around 2.30pm and were tired from travelling so didn't have a late night. Plus we had to be out the hotel by 6am the following morning to go to the Grand Canyon so for that afternoon we just had dinner and wondered round Vegas. The next day we were travelling ALL DAY and only got to see the Grand Canyon for around 2 hours. We got back to our hotel at around 9.30pm and we were so tired from a long day. The Grand Canyon itself was amazing but you only have time to see it and you don't have time to explor or do anything that they tell you about like Mule rides. They also tell you about the Hoover Dam but you only drive past it and see it for 2 seconds as you pass by.. Not enough time to take photos. We hardly had any time in Vegas either due to the amount of travelling this tour includes. In my opinion book these trips seperately if you want to spend more time in each place. I'm glad we visited Vegas and saw the Grand Canyon but we missed out on so much in both Vegas and the Grand Canyon.
