Stop At: Huntington Beach Pier, 315 Pacific Coast Hwy Main Street & Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach, CA 92648-5161

Today the amazing lifestyle of Southern California awaits, Sun, sea, surf and fun are the theme. We start our experience in Huntington Beach the birth place of modern day surfing, “The Beach Boys”, long boarding and beach volleyball.. Stroll along the beach, see the famous beach volleyball pavilion and, if you are lucky, maybe catch some of the local surfers.

We continue to Long Beach, the proud home of the Queen Mary, one of the world’s most luxurious ships to sail the Atlantic Ocean. With the Long Beach marathon, Grand Prix street racing, Motorsports Walk of Fame and whale watching, it all happens here. Board the Queen Mary for a behind-the-scenes tour and see restored areas that have been under wraps since the final voyage in 1967, including the Isolation Wards and the Machine Rooms. After the Queen Mary we continue to Venice Beach, home to the most colorful promenade in the world. With Muscle Beach in the center, numerous roller skating and bike paths, Venice Beach is featured in numerous movies and television shows. Watch the professionals pump iron at Muscle Beach, enjoy the street performances by the locals and soak up this unique and amazing atmosphere. We end the day at the home of “Baywatch”, Santa Monica Pier. The beach and promenade were featured in films such as “White Men Can’t Jump” and many others. Enjoy Pacific Park, an amusement park on the pier with Pacific Wheel, the world’s only solar-powered Ferris wheel with panoramic views of the coastline. End the day with a stroll along the Third Street Promenade, one of the only pedestrian streets in Los Angeles, known for dining, shopping and street performers.

I think we were a little fazed when we found out we were the only ones going on this tour but went on to have a fantastic day. Jacob, our driver gave us so much information during the trip, I just wish I could recall all the details. Huntington Beach was my favourite but it was still amazing to walk along Santa Monica peir and to watch the guys on Muscle Beach in Venice Beach. The Queen Mary was something else. Shame we couldn't have kept it here in England! We chose the Haunted Tour on board and were not disappointed. It really was a great day out and we certainly can recommend it to you all.

Very early start but worth it. We were the only two on the tour which was great and the guide - Giovanni - was well informed, flexible and polite. Enjoyed all of it but felt that the Queen Mary was rather a let down. It appears not to have been maintained in an appropriate manner. The Ghost Tour seemed to be an attempt to entertain the tourists rather than anything special. However, glad to have seen it. Venice Beach and Santa Monica Pier were the real highlights but Huntington Beach early in the morning was refreshing. A tour worth doing.

We had an amazing time on the 3 tours we did. Our tour guide really made the experience highly memorable. We highly recommend getting Richard as your guide if you can, he is brilliant!

Apart from the very early beginning I know, that it is necessary in order to get the whole program through I loved this tour. Richard the tour guide is very knowledgeable and has a lot of funny and interesting stories to share. Jakob the driver brought us safely to all our destinations. It is a packed day with a lot of beautiful views and memories. As it is not always guided you have time to explore Huntington Beach, Queen Mary, Venice and Santa Monica on your on as well. Absolutely recommended.
