If you Hike, Bike, Rock Climb or play Tennis, Trails by Potter are your guides!

Enjoy either a complimentary hotel pickup or meet your guide(s) at a local meeting spot in town where you will then either go for your 2 hour Orchard Bike Ride, 2.5 hour Beach Bike Ride, 2 hour Got Olive Bike Ride, a hike for 2-3 hours, rock climb for 3-4 hours or meet for your 1 hour tennis lesson at the famous Libbey Park.

The Orchard Bike ride takes you on a 7-9 mile ride through the beautiful orange groves. For the Beach Ride, you will bike 16 miles on the Ojai Valley Bike Trail, an easy ride down to Ventura State Beach, one way. For the Got Olive? Bike Tour, after you bike 7-9 miles, you will visit an Olive Oil Ranch where you will taste local olive oils and sample eclectic vinegars for 30 min.

If you choose to rock climb, you will be driven and then walked to the rock climbing area where you will be provided with shoes, harnesses and helmets. snacks, water and transportation back to hotel or meeting site. Your lead Instructor, Ian, will teach you “the ropes”, from first-time, never-before climbers to more advanced climbers. Depending on which level of rock climb you choose, instruction may include:
• Top roping
• Rope techniques
• Rope management
• Anchor building
• Pulley systems
• Knots
• Lead Climbing
• Mountain rescue
• Basic first aid

If you’ve ever thought about taking a tennis lesson or played in high school and want to pick it up again, now is the time to take a lesson from a true expert from someone who was ranked as high as #18 in the world.

If it's hiking you want, this activity is suited for all levels. Hike for 2 to 3 hours in the most beautiful valley in Southern California. Guided hikes are geared for guest fitness level and interests. Areas include Los Padres National Forest, meadows, oak groves, & creeks. Guests will learn about the nature and history of the Ojai Valley, including herbs, flora and fauna. All hikers are provided with water, snacks and waist packs. Please bring sunscreen and/or hat. A wine tasting or olive oil tasting can be added if requested from one of our Speciality hikes.

All equipment is provided for all activities, as well as healthy snacks and water. Drop off back to your hotel or meeting spot is included as part of your activity.
