Tinpa village is a fabulous place that is in the middle of nature and has a large chain of mountains in front of it. You will ride along the Khan river, walk through a jungle forest and mingle with local villagers during your journey.
In the morning, you will travel to the Tinpa village, while enjoying the expansive mountains in front of you. A water taxi will take you across the Khan river, so that you can begin the climb up the mountain to the Theung village. You will enjoy the serenity of the area as you watch the locals go about their daily lives. You will have an opportunity to speak with the locals and ask them questions as well.
As you are leaving this area, you will be transported into a different world that seems much larger. You will see flourishing ferns, limestone rocks and a jungle. As you walk along a steep, rocky trail, you will pass locals who are returning from their pilgrimage to the market.
When you reach the Lao Sung village, you will see an isolated village that is overrun with livestock. You will be welcomed by the shy children of the village and have the opportunity to enjoy lunch at a local home. This lunch will consist of traditional foods, which you will enjoy immensely. As you eat, you will listen to stories of the locals and have the ability to ask questions about their lives. After lunch, you can play with the local children.
As you walk back to the river, you will stop at many other small villages along the way. A small boat will transport you along the Khan river and back to your hotel.
