About this activity
This is the perfect tour for those that are looking for a real relaxed Tuscan experience. This half-day trip will immerse you in the beautiful Tuscan hills where you will get to know some of the producers of traditional Tuscan winery. You will visit a winery where you will taste locals product like extra virgin olive oil, red, white and sweet wine.
10am - pick up at your Hotel (if selected) and drive in direction of the countryside.
10:30am about visit the winery in the countryside. The winery is an organic family-run winery where you can see men and women working together to produce a great wine. You can taste a bit of their work and find out how hard it is to tend the land and have a great product. After the visit of the winery and the vineyards (weather permitting) you will take relax of tasting wine
12:30pm about, we will move in order to reach a village
1:30pm we will return to your accommodation, passing through the beautiful Tuscan countryside.

This was a wonder day outing from Lucca. Matteo was an excellent guide - we toured the town of Montecarlo first - amazing views of the countryside. Next we visited the winery and sampled lovely wines with appetizers. Our group was a mix of Canadians and Americans and we had a great time together sharing stories about our travels. Highly recommend this trip.
We really loved the 1/2 day wine tour. Our guide was very nice and the food and wine pairings were a real hit with our party. They only thing of concern is the description on the Viator website indicated that we were going to 2 wineries, one a smaller family site and the other a larger winery. We only visited the one family winery.
Tour was incredible, the food and wine pairings and our guide of the vineyard Massimo was wonderful. Our guide Amelia was very informative and made us feel like VIP clients. We would all highly recommend this tour.
