Meet your guide in the hotel lobby and transfer to Longmen grottoes.
The Longmen grottoes were built at around the year 493 when Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty moved the capital to Luoyang and were continuously built for 400 years until the Northern Song Dynasty. In November 2000, it was listed as World Culture Heritage by UNESCO. There are 2345 grottoes, 2800 tablets, 70 pagodas and over 100000 statues carved,

You will go to the Tri colored glazed pottery center to piant your favorite modles such as dragon, dog, pig, horse,mai, etc.
It is a versatile type of decoration on Chinese pottery using glazes or slip, predominantly in the three colors of brown (or amber), green, and a creamy off white. It is particularly associated with the Tang Dynasty (618–907) and its tomb figures, appearing around 700. Therefore, it is commonly referred to as Tang Sancai in Chinese.
