Day 1: Luxor – Esna

Pass By: Karnak Open Air Museum, within the walls of Karnak Temple, Luxor Egypt
Upon arrive to Luxor in the Morning your Luggage will be transferred to your Dahabiya Boat and we cross the Nile early this morning to start our tour of Luxor’s West Bank. ( we can rest on the boat for two hours if possible) Here we visit the Valley of the Kings, one of the most important archaeological sites in the world, where the hidden tombs in this ancient burial site are still revealing their secrets today. Our tour includes several important Pharaonic tombs, along with the temples of Queen Hatchepsut and Medinat Habu, and the huge Colossi of Memnon. A spectacular early morning hot air balloon flight over the west bank of the Nile is available this morning to catch the sunrise. In the afternoon the boat leaves Luxor and sails south through the locks on the Nile at Esna Esna is best known for the small ancient Temple of Khnum, which sits 9 meters below street level. Day 2: Edf

Pass By: Temple of Horus at Edfu, Edfu Egypt
Enjoy breakfast on board the Dahabiya as we set sail early morning to El Kabb El Kabb, on the East bank of the Nile. Once the capital of Upper Egypt it is home to the temple of Nekhbet, as well as a row of fascinating decorated tombs carved into the slope of the mountains. Upon docking, you will embark on a beautiful walk through a small fishermen village to visit the necropolis. In the afternoon, the boat will arrive at Edfu, home to the Greco-Roman temple dedicated to the god Horus. This is among the best preserved of all Egyptian temples. Horse and carriage will take you to the temple through the busy city streets. After returning to the boat, we will start our sail towards a beautiful natural island. OVERNIGHT: Nile cruise boat

Day 3: Elkabb

Pass By: Tombs of El kab, 80 Km South of Luxor, Edfu 81644 Egypt
SAIL, SWIM & WILDLIFE After a delicious breakfast we continue our sail towards the Island. This is a chance to experience the natural beauty of the landscape. Enjoy a swim in the Nile as this is a great safe spot for swimming or explore the surroundings with a leisurely stroll or why not do both. As dusk begins, there may be an opportunity to walk into the desert along a valley lined with boulders covered in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs and stone-age inscriptions. These images mark the beginning of the shortest trail through the desert to Libya (28 days in ancient times). At night, the boat will tie up the foot of the floodlit temple of Gebel Silsileh. ready for a day of exploring tomorrow.

Day 4: GEBEL SILSILEH

Pass By: Gibel Silsila, Edfu Egypt
Gebel Silsila is the name given to a rocky gorge between Kom Ombo and Edfu where the River Nile narrows and high sandstone cliffs come right down to the water’s edge. Large Cruise ships are not allowed to stop here so you will usually be the only visitors at this fascinating site. We will visit the small temple of Horemheb and walk through the sandstone quarries, which provided the stone for many of the ancient Egyptian monuments and buildings. We will visit a beautiful authentic café to enjoy tea and the traditional shisha (waterpipe). You will then sail to a picturesque riverbank where you will stop for a barbecue lunch and Fishing on the Nile

Day 5: KOM MOBO

Pass By: Temple of Kom Ombo, Kom Ombo Egypt
The morning trip will take you to the town and temple of Kom Ombo, healing place of pilgrimage for ancient Egyptians and famous for its mummified crocodiles. Dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god, and Horus the falconheaded god, the temple was built at one of the most beautiful locations, where in ancient times sacred crocodiles basked in the sun on the riverbank. After enjoying the temple, you will visit the new Crocodile Museum, It's well worth a visit for its beautiful collection of mummified crocodiles and ancient carvings, which is well lit and well explained.

Day 6: Aswan

Pass By: Temple of Philae, Island of Agilika, Aswan Egypt
You will start your day by visiting the High Dam, which was constructed in 1960 to protect the population and lands from the flooding of the mighty Nile River. After that you will move to visit the Unfinished Obelisk which was owned by the 18th Dynasty ruler, Queen Hatshepsut. After that, you will move to visit The Philae Temple for the honor of Isis. The last day of your Dahabiya journey. After Lunch, you will meet your tour guide to transfer you back to Luxor with an air-conditioned van.
