Itinerary

Day 1: Sailing from Esna - on the Nile

Stop At: Temple of Khnum, Isna Egypt
You will be met in Luxor and taken to Esna to embark on the dahibaya Abundance. You will visit the Khnum Temple in Esna before you set sail south. You will anchor for the night at an island on the Nile.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 2: Sailing to Edfu and Gebel el-Silsila

Stop At: Temple of Horus at Edfu, Edfu Egypt
Sail to Edfu and visit the Horus Temple, one of the best maintained temples in Egypt.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Gibel Silsila, Edfu Egypt
On to Wadi Shatt and a walk through the fields and the desert. Gebel el Silsila is the narrowest point on the Nile and home to a pharaonic quarry and is the site of ongoing excavations. The Abundance will wait at Gebel el-Silsila, where dinner will be served on deck.

Day 3: Sailig from Silsila to Kom Ombo

Stop At: Temple of Kom Ombo, Kom Ombo Egypt
Next stop the riverside double temple of Horus and Sobek at Kom Ombo. Dinner under the stars.

Day 4: Sail from Kom Ombo to Aswan

Stop At: Daraw, El-Abaseya, Markaz Kom Ombo, Aswan Governorate, Egypt
Sail to Daraw where you will visit the market. This is a very special experience. A stroll through the village with its colorful fruit and vegetable stalls. Finally, the Abundance reaches a quiet anchorage near Aswan.

Day 5: Abu Simbel

Stop At: Abu Simbel Temple Complex, Abu Simbel Egypt
Leave the Abundance early in the morning and head further south, through the desert, to the world-famous temple of Abu Simbel. Built by Rameses the Great, it features him in the form of four 21m (69ft) tall statues. You’ll return to the Abundance later in the afternoon

Day 6: Sailing to Esna

Pass By: Nile River Valley, Nile River Valley
The return journey. On the way back, there will be no temple visits, however, there will be occasional stops to take a refreshing swim in the Nile.
