Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive!

Stop At: Cairo International Airport
When you arrive at Cairo International Airport, one of our representatives will be ready and waiting to escort you to your hotel. Our ambassador will be with you every step of the way, from navigating you through the airport to driving you in an air conditioned van to your 5-star accommodations.

Day 2: Giza pyramids and the step pyramid of sakkara

Stop At: Pyramids of Giza, Giza, Giza Governorate
From the hotel you will first travel to the monumental Pyramids of Giza. One of the original seven Wonders of the World, the enormity and beauty of the pyramids will wow you.
From the Pyramids of Giza you will travel to the step pyramids of Sakkara — another historic and unique set of pyramids that only Egypt can offer

Day 3: Fly to and explore Aswan!

Stop At: Temple of Philae, Aswan, Aswan Governorate, Nile River Valley
You will hop on a short flight (about 1.5 hours) to Aswan where an Egyptologist will meet you and take you on your tour of the city. The first stop is Philae Temple, an ancient complex central to the ancient religious world and a favorite topic and location for ancient writers. For the second stop, we will step away from temples and visit an ancient obelisk. The particular one we will visit is the unfinished Obelisk which is also the largest ancient obelisk that was constructed.

Day 4: A day on the Nile river

Stop At: High Dam, Aswan, Aswan Governorate, Nile River Valley
First, you will visit the Aswan High Dam, a massive dam across the Nile River that was pivotal in the industrialization of Egypt.
Next, you will take a tour of the area via a felucca trip. A felucca is a traditional Egyptian sailboat dating pretty far back in history!

Day 5: Temple visit

Stop At: Temple of Horus at Edfu, Edfu, Nile River Valley
Our first stop of the day is to one of the most well preserved locations from the ancient world: the Temple of Edfu. This temple was built to honor Horus, the falcon god.
Next, you will head over to the Karnak Temple, the second most visited historic place in Egypt (after the pyramids). Enjoy a large, ancient complex that includes an open air museum and parts of the temple that are open to the public.
Luxor Temple (a night visit): We will be visiting the elaborate Luxor Temple at night to be able to appreciate its full effect. Luxor Temple is unique as it was not built to worship a specific deity but is representative of all kings

Day 6: valley of the kings & red sea hurghada

Stop At: Valley of the Kings, Luxor, Nile River Valley
Valley of the Kings — This valley is home to the tombs of 63 pharaohs and nobles. While not all of the tombs are open to the public, visiting the valley is an awesome addition to this 9 Day adventure package.
Hatshepsut Temple: Though the cliffs at Deir el Bahari seem to dwarf this stunning temple, its size will amaze you. Located near the Valley of the Kings, this temple was used as a mortuary temple with which to honor Pharaoh Hatshepsut after who it was built.
Colossi of Memnon: These massive statues set on a stunning backdrop of Egyptian terrain.
Drive to hurghada
Duration: 9 hours

Day 7: Day off

Pass By: Hurghada Marina, Hurghada, Red Sea and Sinai
Take the day to explore Hurghada or relax and enjoy your resort stay! The choice is yours. The best part is your breakfast and dinner is included with your package.

Day 8: museum & old Cairo

Stop At: Egyptian Antiquities Museum, Cairo, Cairo Governorate
You will fly back to Cairo in the morning and go on a full day adventure around town.
The first stop on our agenda for day 8 is they Egyptian Museum. With over 120,000 ancient artifacts you can explore, this museum is a must see. It is now one of the great stops of this trip.
next stop we will travel from ancient to medieval times when we visit the Citadel of Saladin.
We are making a stop by the Khan el-Khalili Market. This used to be the heart of trade with foreign merchants and shopkeepers. Now, you will find Egyptian merchants and local stores.

Day 9: Departure

Stop At: Tourism Cairo Office - Cairo Airport, Cairo, Cairo Governorate
After eight awesome days exploring Cairo, Luxor, Hurghada, and much more, it is time to head home. You will depart for the airport in an air conditioned van, giving you the highest level of comfort as you say goodbye to your amazing week in Egypt.
