Overnight Tour from Luxor to Abu Simbel

About this activity
Day 1
You will be picked up from your hotel and will be taken to Aswan, where you arrive at about 11:00. You visit Philae Island on which Philae Temple is built, where you enjoy a guided tour of this beautiful temple dedication to the goddess Isis. Afterwards, you get the chance to marvel at the two Aswan dams (the Old and the High dams). In the afternoon, you can spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight hotel stay is not included.
Day 2
On day 2 you will be transferred to Abu Simbel by car in the early morning. After arrival you can enjoy your guided tour of the Temples of Abu Simbel with free time to explore the sites for yourself. After visiting Abu Simbel you will be taken back to Luxor.
This tour includes a qualified Egyptologist tour guide, transport by air-conditioned vehicle, all entrance fees for the mentioned sites, hotel pick up and drop off, and excludes any extra not mentioned .

This was another incredible experience, getting to see the temples around Aswan, the High and Old dam, and the temples at Abu Simbel. Our guide, Omar, was excellent, a joy to hang around with and was very helpful and accommodating to the things we wanted, for example, they drove us to the airport in Aswan as requested instead of taking us back to Luxor, and arranging lunch for us even though it wasn't part of the tour. Omar offered us to add more onto the tour which included temples at Edfu and a Nubian Village in Aswan, which were also well worth the small amount of money they cost. Now is the time to go as there are very few tourists around, we even had some sites all to ourselves which was a pleasure not having to deal with hordes of people. Everything is very safe as there is security everywhere, the food is excellent, and the accommodations were very comfortable. I highly recommend taking this very interesting tour!
