Peninsula Sweet Tasting Private Tour

Resolutely dedicated to the best of Lyonnaise confectionery, this gourmet circuit is a concentrate of the best sweet treats of the city. We start the visit from Place Bellecour, meeting place in the heart of the peninsula. During the first stop in one of the Voisin chocolate shops, you will first taste a famous Coussin of Lyon. This emblem of Lyon's gastronomy is reminiscent of the shape of the silky cushions of Lyon. You will certainly appreciate this inimitable recipe of chocolate ganache coated with marzipan.
We will then take the time to stroll through the streets of the shopping district. We will pass by Place des Célestins to observe its magnificent theater of the same name. The route will naturally cross the famous Rue Mercière, famous for its authentic Lyon corks. Our passionate guide will tell you the history of Lyon gastronomy; from the traditional cuisine of "Mothers" to renowned chefs.
Then, we will continue our visit to a great pastry chef to taste the famous Lyon specialties : praline. This almond coated with pink sugar gives the desserts a unique and tasty taste. We will return then by the docks of Saone by borrowing a traboule, typical "shortcuts" Lyons between the buildings. You will then taste a little cabbage at an excellent local pastry chef. Finally, the circuit returns Bellecour place with a last gourmet stop at the famous chocolatier Richard.
