We'll heading south of Lyon to visit a family run winery and taste a wine made by a roman recipe. The winemaker works with a museum on the roman vinification. There you will also taste great “Appelations” wines, like Saint-Joseph, Condrieu and Côte-rôtie

We’ll head off for a wine tasting at Les Vins de Vienne, wine estate created 20 years ago by tree well-known winemakers of our region who dreamt to revive the roman Appelations. You will have the honor to taste the Sotanum, Tabernum and Heluicum.

Stop At: Theatre de Vienne, 4 rue Chantelouve, 38200 Vienne France
Then to finish off your day trip we’ll go for a stroll through the vineyards of Vitis Vienna, the site where the Romans would have planted their first vines and where today these wines are regaining their famous past reputation.
