Stop At: Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre, South Bay New Reclamation Area, Macau China

The guide will pickup you at 10:00 AM.

Macau is one of China’s two special administrative regions, another being Hong Kong. Lying on the country’s southeast Chinese coast, it bursts with a blend of vibrant Chinese culture and an interesting colonial past, being once the region under the Portuguese rule for more than 400 years. Beyond its atmospheric ambience and inviting landmarks, Macau is equally renowned for its swathe of dazzling sights, enhanced by a thriving gambling and entertainment scene, which has justly fetched it the title, ‘Vegas of China.’ With a lot to see and experience, let our accomplished team help you to discover the best parts of Macau with a well-rounded sightseeing tour.

Explore many cultural and historic treasures that constitute the well-preserved Historic Centre of Macau – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marvel at the charming remnants of the 17th century St. Paul Church which was once the East Asia’s largest Catholic Church, and then stop by the magnificent Na Tcha, an extraordinary shrine devoted to the child God of War. Next, set off to one of the region’s most historically significant landmark, Old City Walls. Measuring 18.5 meters long and somewhat close to 6 meters tall and 2 meters width, it was built in 1560s and then served as a major defensive barrier to guard the region against any kind of outside attack.

Feel the revitalizing breeze as you head off to Mount Fortress or Fortaleza do Monte, perched on a hilltop that is more than 50 meters above sea level. It was one of the most prominent military strongholds during the Portuguese regime, and now hosts the Museum of Macau, allowing you to glance into the region’s momentous history. You’ll also make a stop at A-Ma Temple which is one of the oldest as well as the most visually-aesthetic shrines in the region. Interestingly, Macau has been named after this Buddhist temple, with Mazu – the sea goddess – as its presiding deity. Before the tour ends, you’ll also get enough time to do some shopping and of course, grab a beautiful souvenir to mark your Macau trip.

If you wish to venture beyond the sights of Historic Centre of Macau, consider a ticket upgrade inclusive of lunch and a trip up to Macau Tower, offering the grandest views over the region.
