About this activity
Make your way to the Shekou ferry terminal in Shenzhen before 8:30am: take metro line 2 to Shekou Port Station and emerge from Exit C. Print your e-ticket in advance and exchange it for round-trip paper tickets at the booking office before 8:30am. Your ferry leaves at 8:45am on the hour-long journey to Macau: allow plenty of time for border formalities as the ticket cannot be changed.

Your tour guide will meet you in Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal at 10am (see voucher for details). Hop aboard your comfortable, air-conditioned coach to catch the highlights of Macau and its old city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Once in Macau, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site, hit the historic center, learning about the history of the area and about its past as a Portuguese colony. Some of the legendary landmarks you may encounter include the ruins of 17th-century St. Paul's, the 1st university in Asia, some of the remnants the Portuguese left behind; the 17th-century Mount Fortress, the old Senado Square, the first chamber in Macau, the first western style clinic, St. Dominic's Church wichis famous for its decorated wooden ceiling. You will learn Macau's history, culture in Museum of Macau. 

The next stop is Macau Tower. It offers you a different vision of the entire city. Gaze out over to Cotai Strip, look for Macau's landmarks and historical sites from its 223m Observation Deck. A buffet lunch will be served on a 360 degree revolving restaurant on 60th floor. 

Finally, visit Sands Casino, one of many in Macau, which offers a variety of games and entertainment. Your day trip ends with transfer to the ferry port for the ride back to Hong Kong at 5 pm. Return coach transfer to your hotel will be arranged. 

Your coach will drop you at the Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal at 4pm. You might use free shuttle bus service offered by Venetian Macao from Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal. The round trip shuttle bus departs in every 15 minute from 09:30 to 23:30.

Venetian Macao is the vast hotel and casino complex. Enjoy around three hours free time here before you catch the free hotel shuttle at 8pm for your 8:45pm ferry back to Shenzhen: please don't be late as tickets cannot be changed. You might want to shop the stores at the Grand Canal Shoppes, try your luck at the gaming tables, or eat at one of the many delicious restaurants.

Your ferry arrives in Shenzhen at 9:45pm, leaving you plenty of time to catch the metro back to your hotel before the last train leaves at 11pm.

Please note: Round-trip ferry tickets will be reserved at least one day before your tour. Please book this tour at least 48 hours in advance.
