6Hr Private Vehicle Madrid City Insider Tour

During our private 6-hour walking and driving city tours, we will see the most important areas of the capital city of Spain. We'll meet at Plaza de Oriente and begin with the walking portion, which lasts for about half the time of the tour, crisscrossing the whole downtown area. Following the exploration, by the foot of the old quarter, we will take our private vehicle and driver, and see more of Madrid: its' avenues, parks, bullring and business area. There will be plenty of opportunities to get out of the van to see everything up close. The time spent at each location depends on the site, as well as your overall interests. We do not go to any sites, because we believe that once you know the city and what it has to offer you can easily go back on your own. There is so much to do during our tours that you won’t miss a thing. The 6-hour city tours are meant to provide a good overview of the city and its’ highlights, helping you to determine where you’d like to come back and spend more time later, if possible. Walking part Historic downtown area of Madrid with its different neighborhoods, including the Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, the Cathedral of La Almudena, the Royal Palace, the “Houses of Malice”, the town hall, the Arab wall, the San Miguel market and many other interesting sites. Driving part We’ll drive past the Atocha train station, the Retiro Park, the main museums, the gate of Alcalá, the Paseo del Prado street which becomes the important Paseo de la Castellana boulevard, Cibeles Fountain and Neptun Fountain, the Bernabeu stadium of the Real Madrid soccer team, Plaza Castilla with its skyscrapers and business area, the bullring of Las Ventas, big boulevards like Gran Vía and the over two thousand year old Egyptian temple of Debod. Depending on where you are staying the walking and driving sections can be inverted. The tour includes either pick up or drop off unless you book the vehicle for the whole time.
