In this walking tour you will discover the essence of Madrid, the places you cannot miss when you visit the capital of Spain. You will a take a tour that not only shows you the history of Madrid, but also that gets you into the culture, the gastronomy and the life of this amazing city. Madrid has streets, leyends and proverbs that only an insider can tell.

We will walk from the begining of the times when Madrid was only a little village up to the moment in which Philipp II transformed it into the Capital of the Spanish empire. The Madrid of the Habsburg is an amazing example of how a city and its population may change and grow without loosing its essence, keeping what is called the Madrid Castizo through the years.
