About this activity

We'll pick you up from the final train station and visit a local ranch, where you will be able to pet different animals like horses, cats, dogs. Sometimes there will be also foals, cows, bulls... that you can meet.
When all is set, we'll introduce you to your new horse companion and, if needed, have a look at the basics of riding.
Then we'll set out across a dramatic scenery of forest and mountains and Madrid wildlife such as rabbits and deer during one hour approximately.
We'll finish with some Tapas and drinks with locals, chatting about the area's history, the ranch, and local culture for one more hour approximately and we will bring you back to the train station.
If you have time, before or after the experience, we recommend you to visit El Escorial Monastery (Unesco World Heritage). We will be very glad to help you plan the visit.
We will give you a step by step guide with pictures, explaining how to get the train, also giving personal guidance if needed.

Marco was very pleasant and helpful throughout the entire process. Make sure you map out the route and if you take the train pay attention to the monitors. Overall great range Excellent guide and I would totally do it again..

I went horseriding in Madrid with my solo trip to Europe and it was an amazing experience from the beginning till the end. The staff were great and Marcos did a great job helping us how to get there it was very easy. The Tapas Picnic was delicious, we were able to try different Spanish food. Totally the highlight of the trip, an awesome break from the city while travelling.

This was an amazing experience for me and my son . Marcos made it simple and interesting . Going on mountains surrounded by natural beauty with an amazing guide , this trip had everything and than on top of that picnic part gives you a real experience of Spanish culture and Spanish food . I would recommend this 100 money well spent .

For a long time, I wanted to try horse riding for the first time, and when I saw Madrid has also mountains and forests I wanted to have a city break and check it out. Amazing town, forests, horses, tapas and of course, the staff!! thanks for the amazing afternoon that was the best moment of my trip to Spain. I was a bit scared because I never rode a horse before but Marcos made everything very easy and comfortable from the beginning. I was able to learn the basics and to lose my fear petting the horses before going out to the gorgeous forests. After the ride, a delicious tapas picnic was waiting for us. We could try some of the most famous tapas from Madrid and Spain and have a nice chat. Five-star experience! thanks guys!!
