The tour begins with a safety briefing and a little riding training. Now you’ll be ready to start an amazing trip from the meeting point which is in Calle Ferraz 26, just in front of the Debod’s Temple.
After some minutes, you’ll have experience enough to ride easily this unique vehicle, in your way to Plaza de Oriente, you’ll find the north side of the Royal Palace and one of its gardens, known as Sabatini Gardens in commemoration of the Italian architect which finish the works of this magnificent Palace, Francesco Sabatini.
Crossing the Orient Square, you’ll go to Arenal Street (only for pedestrians and one of the most commercial Streets in the down town) arriving to Puerta del Sol, you’ll continue through this square, (the most known meeting point for inhabitants and foreigners). Following your way by Alcala Street you’ll arrive to the Cibeles Square with the Cibeles fountain
in the middle of it, and surrounded by different buildings such as the Bank of Spain, the Post Palace (actually the Town Hall of the City) or the Linares Palace (the America’s house)
and after a short stop you’ll continue your trip up to the Independence Square where you’ll find the Alcala Gate and the main entrance to the gorgeous El Retiro Park.
Long ago the Park stood for the retrieve of the Spanish monarchs and its nobility. Step by step you’ll stroll around 118 hectares filled with plenty of nice statues and beautiful gardens.
After enjoying your visit to this green area, you’ll take the way to Huertas Street, to cross the singular neighborhood of the Letters (Barrio de las Letras) and arrive to the main center of it located in Santa Ana Square.
When returning to our meeting point you’ll cross the Plaza Mayor and take Santiago Street arriving again to the Orient Square and finishing in your meeting point.
