Leaving the very popular market of San Miguel at a side, the tour go across the beautiful Plaza Mayor to head to Jacinto Benavente Square, the very first square of Madrid's literary neighbourhood. Once the epicentre of the XVI and XVII centuries literary movement, the neighbourhod used to be home of writers, agents and actors. Since last quarter of XX century this historical area of Madrid has become full of restaurants, tapas bar and design stores.

Prado Museum and Church of San Jerónimo el Real will be next stops. Tour will also pass by The Royal Academy of the Spanish language and the old Palace of Retiro before arriving to the park Retiro throught the entrance of Philippe IV With more than 117 hectares, the once royal garden holds countless surprises. The most important among them: a stunning cristal palace and the impressive monument to Alfonso XII. 

Tour will head then from Alcalá Gate towars the city centre admiring the last but not less notable landmarks. Cibeles Palace, Metrópolis Building...they are all part of the old financial district built in the 10s and 20s. Busy Puerta del Sol and lively Calle Mayor will accompany the tour until its final stop in Santiago Street
