About this activity
The purpose of this tour is to provide you with a unique opportunity to experience and learn about the exciting history, exceptional culture and the distinctive architecture of Madurai following a unique cuisine trail.
Meet your driver in your hotel lobby or another centrally located location in Madurai around 5:30pm and see the Ancient Meenakshi Temple on the way to various Madurai famous food stalls.
The first stop will be at Melamashi Veethi Street. Here, you will be taken to a few traditional food shops which specialize in snacks and sweets. After that, go to a few South Indian specialty restaurants where you can have idly, dosa, vada, kozhi paniyaram, idiyappam, and chicken chettinad.
After that, you will visit a fruit shop and have some seasonal southern fruit juice, fruit salads, and ice cream.
At around 8:30pm, you will return back to your pickup point.
