This is an amazing tour. The views were absolutely beautiful and Jose, our guide was great. This tour is an easy walk in the beginning and middle, but at the end is a pretty steep grade with stairs. The time flies by and before you know it, you'll be back at the van. You see many people on the trail, but its not crowded. I recommend this tour for anyone traveling in the area....truly worth it!
Awesome experience. Would recommend it very highly. Jose was an excellent guide, kept us informed and entertained.
This should be on everyones bucket list to do. It used to be the most dangerous walk in the world, but since the paths have been redone it's really really safe and just spectacular. Jose our guide was just the best, he is so knowledgable about the area, flora, fauna and history. All really fascinating. The breakfast was excellent and a good good way to get to know your fellow walkers in a relaxed cafe. The walk itself was, in a word amazing. In total you walk almost 8km but certainly didn't feel like it. Jose keeps you informed all along the way with such interesting points that otherwise would go unnoticed. He is an absolute pleasure to be with, we parted as friends. The lunch at the end of the walk was soooo good, a great way to unwind after the walk. Those who opted out of the lunch missed out on a great experience in a superb terrace restaurant with great views. This is a small group tour, and after seeing the groups of 50 go past us, we were so glad we chose this tour and not a generic tour.
