Stop At: amazon antonio jungle tours, Itacoatiara, State of Amazonas, 69100-000, Brazil
- 03 DAYS- 02 NIGHTS- DOWNSTREAM SOUTH
- 1st Day: From Manaus: Pick up by car from your hotel in Manaus at 07:00 AM transfer by car, van or bus to in direction towards the town of Itacoatiharia for about 3 hours and 50 minutes driving with a short stop halfway. We continue by car on the dirt road to a little village called Sudam. It’s a 1:30 driving on a dirt road before arriving at Sudam village, a canoe ride via small channels to my Authentic small Inn FOR ONLY 25 PEOPLE called CUMARU POUSADA. We meet the native owners of the land and have a late lunch, after lunch, you will be going in a canoe for a river tour to recognize the area and see the fresh Amazon water Dolphins (Pink or Grey) and the sunset. We have dinner. After diner, we go for a night canoe ride to spot the Alligators (caiman) as the guide use a flashlight to show you their eyes and get an explanation from the guide about them, take pictures and return to the Pousada.
2nd Day: Getting up early going to see the sunrise and birds, Breakfast, and we go in canoe to watch the birds and the monkeys, may lucky to see Dolphins again, plus you looking for the sloths, we go to catch some fish for lunch could be Pirana or other fish depending on the season, the guide and native will prepare your fish for lunch. After the lunch break, we will go for a short jungle walk in the afternoon, try to find the monkeys and get an explanation about some medicinal plants, Dinner.
3rd Day: Breakfast and after we will go for a canoe trip on the river looking for the birds, monkeys, and Amazon Pink or Grey Dolphins and may lucky to see parrots, Hawks, Tucan, Egrets, Heron. Then we will return to Cumaru Pousada to get lunch, after lunch we prepare for our journey back to the main road and back to Manaus to your hotel in Manaus in the city center, arriving around 5:00 PM drop off.
