Itinerary

Day 1: Begin of the trip

Pass By: Meeting of Waters, Rio Negro e Rio Solimoes, Manaus, State of Amazonas 69005-141 Brazil
Day one: At 8am you are pick up at your hotel and your Amazon Jungle Tour from Manaus begin, where you are transferred from the hotel to the Ceasa port .From the ceasa port the Group will be taking a speed boat to navigating true the Rio negro to the Floating village Call Catalao , with a stop at one of the floating house that have a fish far for the Giant Arapaima Gigas (The biggest scale fish in the World ). Here you will have the opportunity to see some fish and feed them and feel how strong this fish is. After visiting the fish far is time to continue the journey on the fast boat to the meeting of the waters, the point where the Rio Negro and the Solimões River meet. Then you continue to the Careiro Village on the other side of the Solimões River. From there continue by car or van for about an hour to the Maçarico lake. Continue by speed-boat arriving at the lodge at about 11:30am. Lunch is served at noon.

At 2:30pm. It is a canoe trip to watch dolphins, birds, do piranha fishing and finally the watching of the sunset at about 6:30pm. Dinner is served at 7pm and then at about 8:30pm Cayman spotting is done. Everyone leaves in a canoe and your guide literally snatches a Cayman out of the water explaining about the reptile which is then returned to its habitat.

Day 2: Jungle tour

Day two: At 5:00 there is wake up call to everyone, so the group departure at 05:30am by a motorized boat to watch the sunrise while listening to the forest waking up to a new day. Return to the lodge for breakfast and shortly afterwards, take a jungle trekking for the rest of the morning. During the walk, the Amazon jungle guide explains valuable information about the rain forest. Much is learned about medicinal plants, insects such as spiders, and a chance at seeing curious animals such as monkeys. Back to the lodge for lunch.

The afternoon activity starts at 3pm. It is canoeing trip in the flooded forest and small channels. It is a great opportunity to see and learn more about the flora and fauna of this fantastic Amazon jungle. (during the dry season this trip is done by walking since there is no water from august to a march) this are is good for spotting animals like monkeys, sloth and some birds. Back to the lodge.

Day 3: Jungle Tour

Pass By: Juma Lake Inn, Eirunepé - State of Amazonas, 69240-000, Brazil
: Breakfast is served at 07:00am and after breakfast at 8am to 11am, the group will leave to visit the home of a local family that live among the river sides of the amazon region and learn about their simple but fantastic way of life in the rain forest. On the way back to the lodge there is opportunity to go swimming in the river as well had have some fun like to local amazon people.

At 3pm the group will leave the lodge to overnight in the Amazon rain forest. Getting to the sport to camp, the guide and the group together will prepare dinner and during dinner. After dinner the group will leave by boat and the guide will show how the native people catch fish with a spear. Back to camp and overnight.

Accommodation included: Camping in the jungle in hammocks with mosquito nets

Day 4: Jungle tour

Pass By: Juma Lake Inn, Eirunepé - State of Amazonas, 69240-000, Brazil
While in the forest the guide teaches survival techniques and gives shares information related to the forest. There is also a chance to do spear fishing during the night safari tour, more trekking and canoeing. Overnight in the forest.

Meals included:
• Breakfast: Cracker, eggs, coffee, milk, tea a and fruits
• Lunch: prepared with regional fresh fish, rice, vegetables and Manioc wheat.
• Dinner: prepared with regional fresh fish, rice, vegetables and Manioc wheat.
Accommodation included: Camping and sleeping in Hammocks with mosquito nets

Day 5: Jungle tour

Pass By: Juma Floating Lodge (Pousada Do Nilson), Autazes - State of Amazonas, 69240-000, Brazil
Return to the lodge at around 11:00am. After lunch at 1:30pm leave the lodge back to Manaus arriving there at about 4:30pm

• Breakfast: Cracker, eggs, coffee, milk, tea a and fruits
• Lunch: Generally prepared with regional fresh fish, chicken, beef, beans, salads, rice, vegetables and fruits.
