Day 1: Manchester - Penrith - Lake District
Pass By: Rabbie's, Store Street, Manchester M1 2WD England
You collect your train ticket at the station (Manchester Airport Railway Station or Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station) and travel from Manchester to Penrith.
Stop At: Castlerigg Stone Circle, Castle Lane Underskiddaw, Keswick CA12 4RN England
You then travel towards Keswick, stopping outside the town to visit the mysterious Castlerigg standing stones, thought to have been built over 5,000 years ago and once a lively hub of ancient pagan rituals.
It’s like a miniature Stonehenge. Although you can decide whether it’s more beautiful.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Aira Force, 7ml S of Penrith A592, Penrith CA11 0JY England
A lovely stone bridge crosses the fabulously flowing waterfalls.

Day 2: Lake Windermere - Hawkshead - Wordsworth Memorial Daffodill Garden

The second largest lake in the English Lake District is famous for its sublime, tranquil beauty.

Stop At: Derwent Water House Keswick on Derwentwater Nbiughl, Keswick CA12 5RF England
This gorgeous location was used in Star Wars - The Force Awakens. But the lasers and spaceships seem a million miles away from this peaceful area.

- This trip combines a return train journey with one of our tours. It's a fast and sustainable way to get you to where you want to go. You get picked up by a Rabbie's mini-coach from Penrith Train Station
- Minimum age to participate is 5 years old. We are sorry, children under the age of 5 cannot join our tour.
