We booked this tour as part of a 40th Anniversary university reunion for 11 seniors who studied in Manchester. Three of us have even lived in Manchester ever since so we thought we knew it reasonably well. However, Gareth who led the tour provided us with absolute gems of insight into this wonderful city as we walked gently through the familiar landmarks and unfamiliar nooks and crannies. Gareth is very knowledgeable and has an entertaining style of delivery which made this tour a pleasure to be on and left us wishing it could go on much longer than the 3 hours (we did have a short coffee/comfort break). All 11 of our group sang the tour's praises over dinner later in the day and we would have no hesitation to recommend it to anyone visiting this great city.
