Make your own way to Tatton Park in Cheshire and use your prepaid Totally Tatton Ticket to gain access to the historic 1,000-acre estate, the former Egerton family home. The park opens daily at 10am and your ticket allows full-day access to all three areas of the estate - the mansion, gardens, and farm - so you can spend as long as you like taking in the highlights.

Visit the Neo-Classical Mansion with its impressive portico dominating the view form the parkland and housing an important collection of paintings, books, ceramics and furniture. The servants' quarters and kitchens also offer a glimpse of life below stairs. Free guided tours are available on a first come - first served basis at 12pm.

Then, explore the idyllic Gardens, which include a 100 year old Japanese garden, Italian and Rose gardens, and a Walled Kitchen garden, plus a Topiary, Maze, Fernery and Conservatory. Don't forget to take a peek at the only pineapple house in England.

Finally, observe an authentic working farm where the rare breed programmer looks after cows, sheep, pigs, donkeys, Shire horses, and goats. You'll also have access to a network of walking and biking trails, a Land Train, a woodland play-trail and den-building area for kids, and the Gardener's Cottage tearoom.
