About this activity
Day 1 Mandalay ARRIVAL, Amarapura-Mandalay (-/-/-) – Arrival to Mandalay. Visit to Amarapura including Mahagandayon Monastery, U Bein Bridge, Mahamuni Pagoda, the wood-carved Shwenandaw Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda and enjoy sunset from Mandalay Hill.
Day 2 Mandalay-Pyin Oo Lwin (Car), Yay Pyan Taung Trekking (B/L/-) – Drive to Pyin Oo Lwin. It will take an hour to Pyin Oo Lwin from trekking point Sin Gaung Lay Village. Yay Pyan Taung waterfall has 7 layers which is beautiful and pleasant with lush surrounds. If time permits, visit to Botanical Garden.
Day 3 Pyin Oo Lwin-Hsipaw (Train) (B/-/-) – Take train to Hsipaw, on a scenic ride over the famous Goitek Viaduct. Disembark at Naung Pain Village and drive to Hsipaw. Sightseeing in the town and watch the panorama from hill.
Day 4 Hsipaw Trekking (B/L/D) – Start from Hotel along Tai villages. Trek on uphill path through hill cultivation field, 2 more villages in marvelous countryside scenery for several hours and reach Palaung village, have local lunch in a house.
Day 5 Hsipaw Trekking (B/-/-) – Down sloping along the path through hill crops for several hours which lead to Mini Natural waterfall and enjoy cold bath for refreshment after trek. The pickup truck is bringing us back to hotel.
Day 6 Hsipaw-Mandalay (Car) (B/-/-) – Visit to Main Market and Hsipaw Haw before drive to Mandalay.
Day 7 Mandalay-Bagan (car), Bagan sightseeing (B/L/-) – Drive to Bagan and visit to Shwezigone Pagoda, Wetkyi-in-Gubyaukgyi, Ananda Pagoda and other temples before enjoy sunset.
Day 8 Bagan Sightseeing (B/-/-) – Sightseeing including Damayarzaka Pagoda, Shwegugyi and Thabyinnyu, Shwesandaw, Abeyadana Temple, other temples and a lacquer ware shop before enjoy sunset.
Day 9 Bagan-Kanpelet (car) (B/-/-) – Drive to Kanpetlet. Arrive in late afternoon, meet the locals and take in the glorious scenery.
Day 10 Kanpelet-Mt.Victoria-Mindat (B/-/-) – Drive to Mt.Victoria and hike 4Hrs. Observe many rare forms of flora and fauna, and many species of plants and butterflies. Then drive to Mindat.
Day 11 Mindat sightseeing (B/-/-) – Drive to Kyar Tong Village and hike about 1Hr. Visit a famous local hunter and meet local women with their full-face tattoos and witness their traditional way of life. Then return to Mindat.
Day 12 Mindat-Bagan (car) (B/-/-) – Drive back to Bagan. Lunch at Saw and arrive Bagan in the evening.
Day 13 Nyaung U/Yangon (Flight), Yangon Sightseeing (B/-/-) – Sightseeing including Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, the bustling area in Yangon’s downtown, along the Pansodan Street which has many large colonial buildings and Shwedagon Pagoda.
Day 14 Yangon Departure (B/-/-) – Transfer to Yangon airport for departure.
