Day 1: Mandalay - Monywa (-/-/-)
In the morning we will drive from Mandalay to Monywa, (about 3 hours) 135 km northwest of Mandalay and situated on the Chindwin River. It is a major center of trade for agricultural produce. En-route visits the very colorful Thanbuddhay Pagoda and Hlaungdawmu Buddha, the second largest reclining Buddha in Myanmar.
Overnight in Monywa
Day 2: Monywa - Mandalay (B/-/-)
Enjoy breakfast at hotel before visit to local market at Monywa and visit to other highlight is an excursion across the Chindwin River to visit the fascinating Po Win Daung Caves, Shwe Ba Daung and the village of Kyaukkka- a centre for lacquer ware. Return to Mandalay in the afternoon.
