About this activity
Day 1:Arrival to Mandalay

Pick up by the Private car at Mandalay International Airport/Train/Bus Station and transfer to hotel check in and visit the famous destinations of the foot of Mandalay hill and around at your arrival in Mandalay.

Day 2 : Ava-Sagaing-Mingun-Amarapura

Enjoy an organized day trip to Mingun, Sagaing, Innwa (aka Ava), Amarapura. During this journey, your will have an experience a boat, and local horse-cart rides inside the Ava, and those expenses are inclusive.

Day 3 : Mandalay – Bagan by bus

Leave for Bagan by morning express bus including pick up and drop off service. Evening at about 4 pm you will have a short boat trip to feel the sunset along the Irrawaddy river and return to your hotel. 

Day 4 : Bagan

Enjoy the amazing city of Bagan by Private car with the tour guide to get the insider perspective to appreciate this famous world heritage site and to discover thousands of ancient pagodas from the 11th century.

Day 5 : Bagan

A free day for you to further explore for Bagan in your own way by e-bike since there have so many different things to see in Bagan depending on your interests.

Day 6 :Bagan – Kalaw by bus

In the morning, the bus will pick you up and leave Bagan for Kalaw, and it is a great opportunity for you to interact and learn from the local. Kalaw is an old hill station with a laid back atmosphere, refreshing climate, and scenic views. Enjoy your free time to explore as you pleased. Pick up and transport in Kalaw is on your own arrangent.

Day 7 :Kalaw Trekking

Morning, transfer to a trekking point and start your trekking to get a taste of the local life of ethnic groups like Danu, Pa-O, Palaung, and TaungYoe at their hill tribe villages. Your lunch will be at a local community village.

Day 8 :Trekking to Inle

After breakfast, your trekking will be continued more or less 3 hours and then take a boat crossing the Inle Lake to refresh with nature and to check in the hotel at NaungShwe. The rest of the day is free for you to explore as you pleased.

Day 9 :Inle visit by boat

Excursion boat trip with tour guide to Inle Lake to see villages on the lake, the unique leg-rower fishermen, and the floating gardens. This tour will bring you to Inle lake where you can experience a peaceful rural countryside and fantastic views.

Day 10 :Nyaung Shwe - Yangon by bus

Enjoy free day to explore the backstreets of NyaungShwe and Inle Lake by bike (will be provided) and strike out on your own of the last moment before you catch a night bus to Yangon.

Day 11:Yangon arrival

Our car will pick you up at the bus station and bring you to the local teashop where you can relax and take local breakfast before your hotel check-in. Then visit all the famous historical, cultural site of Yangon.

Day 12 :Departure day

The tour ends in Yangon at this morning. Your last day in Yangon and preparation to continue your onward journey.

  • There will be drivers who speak limited English and tour guide service will be on 2 organized days according to itinerary only.
  • About Local Express Bus: Called Express buses although they are not always faster (sometimes called VIP buses) are very comfortable, usually having reclining seats and 2+1 or 1+1 seating (as opposed to the usual 2+2). Many bus schedules operate overnight, which allows you to make the most of your days. Most longer journeys feature at least one refreshment stop at a large complex of restaurants on the main Yangon-Nay Pyi Taw-Mandalay Expressway. These offer you the opportunity to stretch your legs and get a drink and a snack to eat. Bottled water, and sometimes a small snack, are supplied on all Express VIP buses and some other buses. All those express buses have Air condition service, and blankets, but the private video player are provided in some overnight buses. Buses do not have toilets on board.
