Stop At: National Kandawgyi Botanical Gardens, Nandar Road, Pyin Oo Lwin (Maymyo) Myanmar

Pick up at your hotel and scenic two-hour drive (80 k) to the former British hill station of Maymyo, now officially called Pyin Oo Lwin, a delightful small town of colonial-style buildings, markets, and a botanical garden. The town is located on a plateau 1000m above sea level and renowned for its cooler temperatures.

Visit colorful local market with multicolored flowers and vegetables in the center of the town near the clock tower where array of items are for sale including locally-produced such as jams and fruit wines.

Enjoy and feel the historical atmosphere by traveling through town in a traditional horse-drawn carriage ride through the town to see the historical houses including Candacraig Hotel, built in 1905 in the style of an English country home. And drop off at the National Kandawgyi Gardens (also known as Botanical Gardens) where relaxing walk though most the charming park in the country.

Stop At: Peik Chin Myaung Cave, Lashio Road Wetwun village, Pyin Oo Lwin (Maymyo) Myanmar

In the afternoon, proceed to visit the Peik Khyin Myaung Cave, since ancient times a Buddhist shrine almost as old as the land itself and proceed to Pwe Kyauk Falls, a favorite picnic spot for local people.
Return back to Mandalay early evening and transfer to hotel.
