Give a Torch to Historical Mandalay
Good morning from Mandalay. Our guide and driver will be at the hotel lobby to escort you for Mandalay exploration. Firstly, we will drive to Mandalay jetty and enjoy boat trip to Mingun (Just 12 KM on the west bank upstream from Mandalay). The wild west of Mandalay sight lists includes Settawya Paya (the valued shrine with a footprint of the Buddha), Mingun Pahtotawgyi (one of the world’s largest chides built by King Bodaw Paya), Mingun Bell (the World renowned ringing, 90 tons weight), and Hsinbyumepaya (a representation of the Sulamani Paya) which stands atop Mt.Meru. Collect the historical data and epic photos, then, return to Mandalay. After lunch, we will visit Mandalay Royal Palace and learn about the history of the last kingdom. Continue sightseeing with Ku Tho Daw Pagoda, known as the world’s biggest book; Golden Monastery, famous for its wood carving. At the end of the tour, we will explore the major destination, Mandalay Hill and take a glance from the hill and enjoy the panoramic sunset view of Mandalay. Then we will transfer to our hotel, relax and take a review on our today’s activities, write it down on our travel diaries.
