Start riding to Ava, the ancient capital of Myanmar from the 14th to 18th centuries. Take a short ferry ride across the river together with the bikes. Then, cycle to discover small villages scattered amidst Ava’s ruins offering a unique glimpse into local life.

Stop At: Bagaya Monastery, Ava, Mandalay Myanmar
Visit the old wooden Bagaya Monastery and the remains of the Royal Palace and Fort.

Stop At: U Bein Bridge, Amarapura Myanmar
Continue ride through picturesque villages towards Amarapura, another former capital whose name means ‘City of Immortality’. Today’s excursion will end at U Bein Bridge with a walk along this iconic 2000-year old teak structure. The bridge is constructed using 984 teak wood posts that were once part of the deserted Inwa Palace. At 1.2 kilometres in length, it’s the world’s longest teak wood construction. Enjoy a stroll along the bridge and the fabulous views of Taungthaman Lake and the surrounding countryside before transferring back to the hotel
