Pass By: Mandalay Palace, Mandalay Myanmar
Our guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel and start
Mandalay sightseeing from
Shwenandaw Monastery, known for its teak carvings of Buddhist myths, which adorn its walls and roofs. It’s built in the traditional Burmese architectural style and then we will take a walk to
Athumashi Monastery nearby Shwenandaw Monastery. After that we will move to
Kuthotaw Pagoda (World’s Largest Book, UNESCO), which is famous by 729
of stone-inscription caves. After visiting to
Kudotaw Pagoda, our guide will lead you to
Mandalay Yadanabon Palace, the royal palace of last Myanmar Kingdom. Lunch will be served with Burmese traditional cuisine. After lunch, we will visit to
Inwa (Ava). On arrival Inwa, we will start to visit
Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery, known as
Mae Nu Oak Kyaung (Queen Me Nu who built brick monastery in 18th century). And then, visit to
Bagaya Monastery which is famous with 279 huge and long teak posts. After that, keep going to visit the
Nan Myint Tower (Ava Palace Site) - 27 meters (89 ft) high watchtower of early 19th century. Then, visit to
Yadana Hsimi Pagoda. In the evening, drive to
Amarapura Township and enjoy the beautiful sunset of
U Bein Bridge (1.2-kilometer-long known as the longest teak Bridge in the world originally built in 1851). And then, we will offer you a decent dinner and give you a free ride to a place you are staying at. End of our service
