About this activity
Meet up with your guide at the lobby of your hotel and make your way through the bustling streets of Manila from the comfort of your car.

Take in the sights of the sprawling metropolis as you travel towards one of the oldest settlements of Metro Manila, Malabon City. Start your day at the San Bartolome Church, hailing from the Spanish Era, this church has stood for more than 400 years as the city grew around it.

Get into your Tricycle, a local form of transportation which is a motorcycle with a side car, and begin your journey in Malabon.

Your first stop is a local favorite which sells Arozcaldo, a rice and chicken soup. Dine by the roadside as local residents drop by and have a quick bite in this hole in the wall shop that sells out within 1 to 2 hours after opening.

The next stop is for a quick snack of fluffy rice cakes topped with salted egg and cheese or stuffed with stewed pork. Spanish Spanish speaking visitors will get a laugh when finding out the name of this delicacy.

Lunch is a spread of local favorites with the Crispy Pata as the centerpiece. Dig into this crispy, savory, sweet, tangy whole pork leg that is boiled and then deep fried to create a classic Filipino favorite.

Take a break from eating as you stroll along a local market while taking in the sights of colorful fruits and other produce being sold in this wet market.

Enter an unassuming home which is actually the center of a sticky rice cake empire that spans the whole Metro. See and taste a variety of colorful, sweet and sticky rice cakes.

Next stop will be a little store that sells Pacit Malabon, a noodle dish that gets its name from the city. Shrimp based sauce that lightly coats thick rice noodles topped with boiled egg.

Finally drop by a decades old bakery and have a taste of a light and fluffy pastry only found in this city.

After all the eating, relax in your car as your guide brings you back to your hotel.
