We booked a private tour as offered for the old and new Manila and due to the high price (more than 300 USD for 4 hours) we expected a prepared and knowledgeable tour guide. But it was just a disappointment, and we only got a four hours expensive taxi ride. The tour "guide" was not well prepared for the tour (which was the arrangement of the organizer!), had not much information for us and could only answer a few questions. We had the impression that we could tell the Philippine guide more about the history with the little preparation we did for the tour via Wikipedia.
