4-Day Berber Village Hike from Marrakech

Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil – Tizi n'Tamatert Pass - Tachedirt village

You will be picked up from your hotel in Marrakech at around 8,00am. Accompanied by an English- speaking guide drive south up over gorges and high passes of the upper valleys to the Berber town of Imlil (1740m). From Imlil (1740m) we walk to Tacheddirt (2300m) via Tizi 'n Tamatert (2279m) pass. We spend the night in a local berber house. Approx. 4 hours walking.

Day 2: Tachedirt – Ikkis - Arg – Imsker - Imi oughlad village

Today we walk from Tacheddirt to Imsker (1300m) down the Imnane valley crossing the following Berber villages: Ounskra, Tamguiste, Ikkis, Amssakrou and Arg. We spend the night in a local lodge in Imi oughlad village. Approx. 5 hours walking.

Day 3: Imi oughlad – Tizi n'Tacht pass - Tahliouin village

After breakfast, you will walk uphill to Tizi n'Tacht pass from where you will have nice views over Imlil valley & Azzaden valley. After a short break on the pass, you will continue walking via a rough road that will lead you to Tahliouin village where you will spend the night at a lodge. Approx. 5 hours walking.

Day 4: Tahlioun– Tizi Oussem village - Tizi Mzik Pass - Imlil – Marrakech

Today, walk from Tahliouin village via a dirt road to Tizi Oussem village(1850m) from where you will follow a trail uphill to Tizi Mzik Pass that will gives you nice views over Imlil valley. Walk down to Imlil where you will have lunch at a guest house before transfer back to Marrakech. Approx. 4 hours walking.
