4-Day Sahara Desert Tour from Marrakech: Ouarzazate, Ait Ben Haddou and Mhamid

Day 1: Marrakech - Ouarzazate

Journey through breathtaking countryside via Tizi N´Tichka pass, one of the highest passes in North Africa. Discover a remarkable area characterized by the magnificence and beauty of its various landscapes.

Stop to visit the famous, fortified city of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it has been the backdrop for many films.

Enjoy a guided visit of Oscar studios where we will have lunch, Then a city tour of Ouarzazate, whose name is the Berber word for “no noise.” Visit the Taourirt and Tiffoultoute Kasbahs which were the ancient residences of Glaoui (Old Pacha of Marrakech). Then check in to your hotel, eat dinner, and stay the night.

Day 2: Ouarzazate - Zagora - Mhamid

After eating breakfast at the hotel, depart to Zagora via Agdz whose road leads through numerous villages and palm groves along the Draa River. Upon arrival in Mhamid, you will be transferred by 4x4 with driver to the bivouac located in the Chegaga dunes where you'll enjoy a camel ride to assist the sunset from the top of the dunes then have dinner and stay overnight in nomads tents.

Day 3: Mhamid - Zagora - Ouarzazate

After breakfast under tent, head to Ouarzazate with free time.

Day 4: Ouarzazate - Marrakech

Breakfast at hotel, free time and in afternoon we will then depart to Marrakech where our tour will end.
