About this activity

Day 1: Arrive in Marrakech

Pick up from airport and transfer to riad or hotel. Enjoy the colors and smell of the the busy medina. Visit the museum, palaces or garden nearby.

Day 2: Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou (4×4, 200km)

Pick up from hotel after breakfast and transfer in 4x4 to Ait Ben Haddou (4 to 5 hours). Enjoy the panorama view of the High Atlas as we drive through the winding roads up to Tichka pass then down towards Ouarzazate. Visit the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Overnight in a local guest house.

Day 3: Ait Ben Haddou to Ait Tamlil (Quad, 130km)

We start driving in our quads/ATV and depart Ait Ben Haddou towards another old Berber village in the high Atlas Ait Tamlil. Walk around and learn about the local culture with our guide.

Day 4: Ait Tamlil to Ait Bouguemez (Quad, 120km)

After breakfast, we drive towards Ait Bouguemez, nickname 'Happy Valley', one of the most beautiful valley in the Atlas region. If time allowed, we can walk around the apple farms or hike up to small hills for panorama view, visit local families and stay in family guesthouse.

Day 5: Ait Bouguemez to Bou Tharar (Quad, 80km)

From Ait Bouguemez, we drive to Bou Tharar, passing through many spectacular scenery of colorful layers of mountains between Dades Valley and Rose Valley.

Day 6: Bou Tharar to Ait Ben Haddou (Quad, 120km)

From Bou Tharar, we head back through the mountains again to Ait Ben Haddou, after a visit to the magnificent historic kasbah of the Skoura palmery enroute. Return quads to our office.

Day 7: Ait Ben Haddou to Marrakech (4×4, 200km)

Transfer back to Marrakech in 4x4. Enjoy some last minute shopping or simply get a hamman or massage to relax after this exhilarating journey.

Day 8: Transfer to airport
