Cultural Day Trip Atlas Mountains and Berber Villages From Marrakech

This full day trip are different from other tour experiences. You’ll encounter firsthand the beauty and hospitality of Moroccan culture by visiting real Berber homes in the villages of the High Atlas mountains south of Marrakech. You’ll spend an afternoon meeting the people and learning about their lives. Our excursions aren’t just about camels, Mountains and palm trees, but discovering another way of life.

We will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 900 am, we take you on a unique adventure to discover and learn the history and the hidden secrets of Berber villages life firsthand.

You will have the opportunity to visit an argan cooperative to witness how the local women turn an Argan Nut into oil, whilst also enjoying a cup of fresh mint tea, peanut butter and local bread.

We will drive deeper into Atlas Mountains, valleys to reach an altitude of 2000 m. In Armed valley, you will enjoy a unique walk through the berber hamlets and walnut fields for about 1-2 hours (flexible), As a result, you'll see many berber villages and a good amount of the geography of the High Atlas mountains in which the Berbers live,

Arrive in Imlil, see village, and have lunch at the home of a local Berber family, 3 courses lunch cooked and served by locals, before we drive back to Asni valley for short camel ride (Option)

Later on, the thrilling journey concludes with a drive back to Marrakech via Tahanaout city, arriving at approximately 5pm
