Day Trip To Atlas Mountains and Three Valleys & Berber Villages from Marrakech

I had a amazing day with Ibrahim as a guide, the tour was interesting and he did everything to make everybody confortable, gave interesting informations and was always in a good mood. A special attention as I have food allergy and he made sure everything was done at my convenience. The views were beautiful and I learnt more about berbere villages. I recommend, good value for the price.

This was such a good tour and included so much. Our guide, Ibrahim was from one of the villages we visited. He was friendly and knowledgeable and his English was great. Mohammed was a fantastic driver too and also helped at various stops. We were picked up near our Riad which was not as close to the group meeting point. The drive was enjoyable and first stop was the camel ride. I thought it would be a short ride but it was 15-20 minutes and included tea and dressing up in traditional Berber outfits. We then stopped for a coup,e of photo opportunities on our way into the mountains. The next stop was for a small breakfast of tea and bread at an árgan oil cooperative, The women showed us the process of making cosmetic and food products from argan almonds. You could purchase items but there was no pressure. After driving a little higher in the Atlas mountains to another village, we went for a hike to a waterfall. It was an uphill hike but the trail was well maintained and Ibrahim checked often to make sure everyone was doing ok. We visited a traditional Berber home from the past and had tea and a snack of mixed nuts and cookies. The day ended with a meal of tajine and bread. It was a full day ending at about 6pm. We completely enjoyed this tour. The value for the money is tremendous! We highly recommend doing this tour if you visit Marrakech!

This was a great excursion and the camel ride was a fantastic experience having to dress up. Recommend !!

The excursion from start to finish was brilliant! I have been on many excursions and have to say this one has ranked the highest in terms of excellent value for money,hospitality and a fantastic guide! Mohamed and driver Omar were both really helpful, Mohamed was so enthusiastic and passionate when showing and telling us about the Berber way of life.Lunch was a delicious three course meal and the tagine the best I’ve had in Marrakech. Mohamed and his family were very welcoming too within their home.I had anticipated a active and strenuous hike,however that wasn’t the case.The views we witnessed we’re unparallel and well worth the trek. Mohamed was very helpful in physically guiding us whenever we needed a hand, which was much appreciated.The thoughtful ness extended to a beautiful little gift to take with us.Overall a fantastic experience and I would highly highly recommend this tour!! Absolutely fantastic experience, It was a great value for money tour! Full day excursion and got to see many different parts. Mohammad made this experience thoroughly enjoyable! The entire trip, He looked after us, made us laugh, and showed us hospitality. The views in the mountains of the villages and the home cooked meal made the experience so personal. Real Moroccan cultural experience.

Highly enjoyed this tour. Ibraheem was our tour guide and was well informed and polite. They picked us up on time from Aqua Fun. We loved the camel ride and the dressing up for it. The lunch was included and fresh and tasty. Beautiful place. Transport was air conditioned and clean. A must do!

Brilliant day trip and overall service with Ibrahim Ahmed as an exceptional guide! Was picked up by Ibrahim from our Riad (located about 15mins away from The Square) where we joined a group of 10-12 people. All parts of the trip was worthwhile with great organisation. Went with my Wife on 22 June (particular went for a Saturday so the trip included the Berber Market which added an authentic cultural touch to the trip). The trek was lovely as we saw unique culture with beautiful scenery. A touching moment was when we both saw how Ibrahim and his family lived in the villages. His family members were very welcoming where they provided delicious snacks and mint teas. Spectacular views, good program, a little bit of everything- camels, donkeys, hiking, waterfalls, villages- Ahmed was a really excellent guide, more like friend, caring and helpful.

The mountain countryside is beautiful, the water running through the villages is clear and cool, the driver was witty and charismatic and the group I traveled into the mountains with were a great group of fellow seekers. Enjoyed the trip...nice plunge into the serenity nature offers.
