About this activity
After morning pickup from your Marrakech hotel, travel with your small group in a comfortable and air conditioned vehicle with an experienced english speaking guide through the majestic Atlas Mountains.

Admire towering snow-topped peaks on your 1-hour drive to the first valley Ourika, famous by its waterfalls, this lush valley’s waterfalls are a lovely counterpoint to the surrounding landscape and the guided visit will help you to fully explore this waterfalls with your expert mountain guide, It's about 80 minutes hiking round trip (if you aren’t interested by this hike you can enjoy a drink in one of the riverside cafes), you will enjoy different landscapes and get spectacular views, in this valley you will have the opportunity to visit the Berber women extracting the argan oil (the unique Moroccan oil).

Continue through the second valley which is Oukaimeden valley (Ski resort), and taking a secluded mountain road standing at 1800 meters above sea level to reach the third valley of this tour which is Sidi Fares, you will pass through traditional Berber villages built from adobe and stones, and to discover the authentic life of Berber people and culture we will arrange an included and delicious lunch for you (Moroccan salad or soup, Berber tagine, Moroccan couscous, dessert and drinks) in a typical Berber house. Afterward, head toward the fourth valley that is Asni, famous by its fruit trees (Apples, walnut, almonds, peaches...), have your camera ready to take pictures of highest peak in North Africa, the Toubkal mount with 13 665 feet.

At this point, head back to Marrakech or, if you’ve chosen the extended option, continue your journey into the Moroccan countryside for another hour. Travel to Takerkoust Lake, a serene sapphire-blue artificial lake popular with locals, then, pass wheat fields and villages on your way to the Kik Plateau, a distinctive limestone outcropping in the Atlas Mountains that offers wonderful views of the lush valleys below.

Return to Marrakech and conclude your thrilling tour through the Atlas mountains with drop-off at your hotel at approximately 5pm.

This was a fun trip with a great tour guide. The only thing I suggest is add camel rides for your clients.

We really enjoyed this tour and the Berber lunch. Our guide, Abdel, made this tour interesting by telling us all about the Berber and Moroccan history and culture. The hike to the waterfall was beautiful as well as the villages and vista points we stopped at.

This was a challenging hike for my parents and at times for me but worth it as the waterfall is beautiful at the top of the mountain. The Berber meal was very tasty and well cooked. It was great to see and visit the village people. the only drawback is that is weather was cloudy at times and we didn't get the see to of the mountains or have a clear view when we reach high points. Also you only visit two valleys and drive past the other two. I think this should be advertised more accurately. Our driver and guide was very good and informative.

Abdel our driver and guide was one of the best we have had throughout the world. In the party of 6 there were 2 of us plus 2 French and 2 German. Abdel spoke excellent English and French and translated through out the trip. Highlight was lunch in local house in small Berber village with magnificent views over the Atlas Mountains. 3 course lunch with traditional Berber Tagenes was excellent. The visit will in morning to the river side village gave outstanding scenery, the hike in the foot hills was good but exhausting.

This was a good tour and we really enjoyed our group and the lunch and the beautiful vistas but it was less hiking than we thought it would be and far more time in the car driving around.

The Atlas Mountains were amazing and the itinerary was perfect - plenty to do and see, but nothing was rushed. Jamal was our tour guide and he was probably the best tour guide we’ve ever had - his knowledge and language skills were fantastic, and his demeanor was always pleasant and entertaining. Thank you for a fantastic day in Morocco - highly recommended!

We did the Atlas Mountains 4 Valleys trip and it was amazing. Mido spelling? was our guide and driver for the day and he was absoluely fantastic. Hes friendly, polite and a goldmine of information. He is a Berber so he knows all about the Berber communities in the mountains. The lunch in the Berber house was home cooked and delicious. We tossed up whether to do the cheaper waterfalls tour or this one and were glad we chose this. The waterfall is okay but quite crowed and touristy and we were grateful to have our falls guide Ahmed on this part of the tour. He really is a mountain goat! Highly recommended.
