Marrakech – 3 Valleys Excursion

After breakfast, enjoy a program with amazing landscapes, covers the High Atlas Mountains and three valleys. First Ourika valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in Morocco, an 1 hour drive from Marrakech and it is famous by its waterfalls, 1h & 1/2 serious trekking to get to the waterfalls). Taking a secluded mountain road route standing at 1800 meters above sea level, you will pass through traditional Berber villages built from adobe and stones. Continue to Asni valley, famous for its fruit trees (Apples, walnut, almonds, and peaches). In Asni, you will enjoy the sight of the snowy summits of the High Atlas Mountains. Lunch in Ouirgane“ Chez Momo”. Cross the Kik plateau and get to the Takerkouste Lake used as reservoir of the Atlas mountains water and generate the hydraulic power. Return to Marrakech for Overnight.

 Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

This morning you will be met at your hotel for your full day excursion to Ouarzazate. During the drive you will be crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the magnificent Tiz In Tichka pass (2262m). This pass lies between the great Marrakech Plains and the gateway of the Sahara Desert. First stop at the spectacular fortress of Ait Ben Haddou, the iconic landscape immortalized in films such as, Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator, continue along to Ouarzazate, also known as “Morocco’s Hollywood.” Here you will get to visit the Kasbah Taourirt, one of the most beautiful the largest Kasbah in Morocco. This Kasbah is classified a historical monument giving tribute to the Glaoui. Next you will visit the Kasbah Tifoultoute, with its beautiful sites over the valley. Kasbah Tifoultoute is said to be over 300 years old, however the present structure is largely 20th century. The Kasbah has been converted to a hotel in the 1960s for the cast of Lawrence of Arabia. The next stop is at one of the film studios, where some of the most famous desert landscapes were and are still being shot. Afternoon transfer back to Marrakech for overnight
