Stop At: Koutoubia Mosque, Rue el Ksour, Derb Sabai, 13, Marrakech 40000 Morocco

Your Historical & Cultural Walking Tour begins in front of Café Glacier in Jemaa el-Fna square, where you'll meet & greet your guide, before heading to the Koutoubia Mosque, a key piece in Morocco’s history, built during the 12th century under the Almohad Dynasty. Its minaret remains the tallest building in Marrakech so it can be visible from almost everywhere in the city, like a guiding star, helping you to get directions when you're lost.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Le Jardin Secret, Rue Mouassine, 121, Marrakech 40000 Morocco

The morning tour will explore the northern part of the old town (Medina) of Marrakech; it continues as follows:
- Le Jardin Secret: one of the city's best gardens and a pleasant quiet oasis to escape, for a while, from the frantic pace of the Medina
- Dar El Bacha / Musee des Confluences: a photographer's paradise, full of gorgeous artwork, painted wooden ceilings, tiles.. Captivating, peaceful and serene! Some even say it's better than the famous Bahia Palace. We'll let you be the judges on this one!
- Ali Ben Youssef Mosque: the oldest and arguably most important mosque in Marrakech
- A cultural trip back in time to discover three points of interest: 1/ the Farnatchi, where you can uncover the process of heating the water in traditional public steam baths, called hammams, which dates back to Roman times; the Farnatchi is also where some locals still bring their dishes (especially the typical Tanjia) to be slowly cooked in a wood-fired oven; 2/ an age-old bakery where artisanal bread is still cooked the old fashioned way; 3/ a Foundouk, where caravan travelers in ancient times could rest and recover from the day’s journey, before continuing their route
- One of the city's well-reputed herbal stores, where you can learn everything you want to know about herbs, spices and essential oils, while having a Moroccan mint tea and some local pastry
- Sidi Ishak Souk, an open-air fruits and vegetables market
- Rahba Kedima Square, a refreshing open square, full of charm & character, that will give you for sure a wonderful insight to life in the old medina: stalls packed with mysterious potions, colorful piles of spices, essential oils...
- Semmarine souk, the largest souk district in Morocco, where merchants have been trading and selling their good for the past 1000 years already!! We'll be there only to taste olives as part of our tour, but get ready for a complete sensory overload! The combination of sounds, sights and smells are enough to leave even the most hardened of travelers feeling completely mesmerized

Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Bahia Palace, Avenue Imam El Ghazali, Marrakech 40000, Morocco

The afternoon tour will explore the southern part of the old town (Medina) of Marrakech; it continues as follows:
- Jemaa el-Fna, with a short olive tasting experience
- A cultural trip back in time to discover two points of interest: 1/ the Farnatchi, where you can uncover the process of heating the water in traditional public steam baths, called hammams, which dates back to Roman times; the Farnatchi is also where some locals still bring their dishes (especially the typical Tanjia) to be slowly cooked in a wood-fired oven; 2/ an age-old bakery where artisanal bread is still cooked the old fashioned way;
- The exquisite Bahia Palace that fascinates everyone by its fine Moorish architecture, gorgeous ceramic tiles and the majestic beauty of its colors. The visit will definitely be more interesting with our guide, and we prefer to only include it in the afternoon tour to avoid the crowds (& Instagram enthusiasts) filling the place during the mornings
- Jewish Quarter (Mellah) a very interesting part of the Medina to visit, in order to understand the important role of the Jewish culture and people in developing the unique identity of Marrakech
- Slat Al Azama Synagogue, founded in 1492 by Jews who were expelled from Spain, it is still in use and is popular for Jewish weddings and Bar Mitzvahs. Out of respect for the community, please note that photos during Shabbat are discouraged.
- Saadian Tombs, the former resting places of royalty that were hidden for centuries, until they were discovered in 1917, then renovated because of the beauty of their decoration
- One of the city's well-reputed herbal stores, where you can learn everything you want to know about herbs, spices and essential oils while having a Moroccan mint tea and some local pastry
- Bab Agnaou, one of the nineteen gates of Marrakech and the entrance to the Royal Kasbah
