Your guide will pick you up at your hotel around 10am (confirm exact timing after booking) in Marrakech in a private 4x4. Make your way up the Atlas Mountains and cross the T'zi N'Tichka Pass, standing at 2260 meters (7,400 feet). Stop for coffee (not included) and enjoy the views of this impressive mountain col.
As you descend, admire the Berber villages hanging from the mountains. After about 3.5 hours of driving, you will arrive at the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. This adobe Kasbah was strong and powerful in the period of the trading caravans coming from southern Africa. Today, the impressive structure is world famous for being a film set for movies such as Gladiator, and TV series, like Game of Thrones. This incredible piece of history is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Your private guide will give you a tour of the area, followed by free time, so you can continue discovering. You can visit the modern-day families that live in the Kasbah, who are very friendly and eager to share their customs with travelers. Around the Kasbah, there are various restaurants for lunch (not included). All entrances fees are included.

Disappointed in Viator here. The tour indicates an English speaking guide who will meet you at your accommodation. The guide did not meet us at our Riad but instead called with instructions to walk out and find him. This was not overly onerous and would have been forgotten. However, upon meeting the guide we discovered that he did not speak any English. In addition to this he drove like a maniac spending a good deal of time on the wrong side of the road while approaching the many blind corners on the route. The tour itself, the route through the High Atlas and Ait Ben Haddou are very interesting. My recommendation would be to book through your accommodation or research a local tour company and ensure you know what your getting as far as a guide is concerned.
