Hand and Wheel Pottery Workshop in Marrakech

The training course of pottery which is proposed to you allows you to understand the two different shaping techniques the most practiced in Morocco: the turning on the famous traditional potter's wheel and the technique of the molding.

It is also the opportunity for you to observe all the workshop's organization since the first clay preparation, until the firing and the glazing of potteries.

PROGRAM :
- about 3 hours of handwork, around the activities of blending, molding and turning,
- a tea-break in company with Mustapha,
- demonstrations and explanations split into two times concerning the clay preparation than the phases of pottery's work: firing; glazing stage.
- An experienced craftsman by your side,

- guide in charge of translation and good progress of workshop,
